Sluggish Times

Well, I have to say I don’t know what is going on, but I’m pretty sure the economy might have something to with it. We haven’t picked up any new clients at this time. Our current clients are all pretty content, however we do have one that is needing a little maintenance done to their site so that will be something. Of course one of our busier clients will have us a newsletter to produce and send for them before much longer.

In the hopes of attracting new business, we have researched and found a bunch of smaller business that could stand a good site update. We have sent out several email but only a few read receipts, not read receipts, and a couple replies declining our service are all we have garnered on that end. We have also put an add in two of our local papers, of course that was a fiasco with one of them. Of course it finally was straightened out in the end, and we got two free weeks of advertising in one of the papers we originally didn’t intend on advertising in. However, it may have been all for naught. We haven’t received a single inquiry over the phone or via email. I have seen no evidence of any traffic that could have been generated from the ads either. I do have to say this though, the ad looks damn good. I have to give props to my graphic designer and marketing queen. She did a helluva job. Way to go Robin. Woot!!!

Introducing…Debut Digital

Hello. My name is Tim. Along with my wife Robin, we run Debut Digital. Debut Digital is a web design and development company located just north of Knoxville, Tennessee. We provide the full gamut of web design and development including creating new websites, redesigning websites, graphic design, search engine optimization (SEO), website hosting, and domain name registration. We utilize HTML, XHTML. CSS, Perl, javascript, etc as well as the hosting environments IIS and Apache.

We have already built a few websites for clients, who appear to be very satisfied. Two of the websites we have developed are for clients who have something to sell, namely a cookbook and a cd. We implemented PayPal “Buy It Now” buttons utilizing their PayPal accounts to accomplish this and it allows them track when orders are placed from their website. Another site that we have recently completed was for a dental office located in Knoxville, TN.

We also implement Google Analytics with every site we create as a complimentary service so that our clients can keep track of their website’s is performance.
